Creating Lists
influence.co is 100% public, which means not only is your profile visible to anyone, but you can view profiles for other influencers, photographers, agencies and brands. You can search for other influencers in your niche, see how they position themselves, who they have worked with and in some cases view their standard rates.
Along with access to other influencers and brands, you can also view photographers, agencies and talent managers. You can scope out who they represent and have relationships with and reach out if you’re interested in collaboration or representation.
With our Lists feature, you can build up to three lists (or unlimited lists if you are PRO) of accounts you want to reach out to. Here are a few ideas for lists you can build.
- Make a shortlist of brands that you have already promoted on your feed. Everyone has done this because we have all talked about products or experiences we love. It's okay to list the promotions even if you have not been paid for them or even worked directly with the brand. Brands enjoy nothing more when receiving inbound requests than to see how an influencer has already thought about presenting their products to their audience.
- Create a shortlist of brands you’d really love to work with that have clear fit with your page’s aesthetic and audience. If your Instagram account is about the best dive bars in Chicago, you probably don’t want to approach Rolex for a collaboration. The biggest gripe that brands have about inbound inquiries are the number of requests that lack obvious fit with their brand, customers, or aesthetic.
To create a list and track profiles simply click on the "Save to List" button on any profile. At any time you can click "Lists" from the main menu and go back and review. After you’ve created a list, your last step is to reach out, which is especially easy if they have a brand page on influence.co. An increasing number of brands are using influence.co to handle influencer inquiries. Many of them even let you apply directly to their campaigns, here are some brand campaigns you can apply to. If you can’t find a brand on influence.co you can always reach out by DMing them on Instagram or contacting them directly on their website or other social channels.
